BASE2 EDI and Release Management software is Honda Certified and listed in Honda’s Blue Book. The Honda Trading Partner module is preconfigured, greatly reducing the time needed to implement either a new EDI system, or just to add a new Trading Partner. Outbound transactions are validated against Honda’s specific requirements for syntax and content. Going beyond the translation of all required EDI transactions, the Honda Trading Partner module is seamlessly integrated with BASE2 Release Management including communications, reporting, MRP interface export, bar code label printing and a variety of bar code scanning options. Honda North American Logistics has a single unified set of EDI specifications. BASE2 is a certified EDI software provider under Honda’s EDI & Barcode Label Implementation requirements.

Line Side Label Printing: Capture serialized production data for the parts as manufactured and pass that information through the production/QA and inventory processes, and finally BASE2 EDI will send the accumulated serialized data to Honda on the ASN. Automated label printing (and reprinting) processes are driven by programmable logic controllers (PLC) or a pedal. LineSide jobs can be imported from your existing MRP, or from firm orders (releases) received by the Honda EDI module. Manual job entry is also an option.
